Cal and I participated in a five day sponsored cycle ride around the islands of North & South Uist in July 2010. The ride was in memory of Katie McKerracher, the 11 year old daughter of Andy, an old university friend of mine. Katie died early last year from a rare brain tumour and her parents have set up the Katie McKerracher Trust to raise money to support patients, and their parents, suffering from this terrible disease. The camaraderie on the ride was brilliant, but the weather was, mostly, truly atrocious making the whole thing much more of a challenge than Cal or I had anticipated! Click here for some photos.

You may be interested in visiting my old website, which includes a link to my original website. Both sites are fairly primitive (I wrote the original in HTML entirely on my own, which is largely why I find myself strangely  attached to it and cannot bring myself to delete it), but there are some nice early photos. Cal’s old website is still available as well.

My band, Squeeler, is still going strong and is worth visiting, if only for the “Band History” which, believe it or not, is loosely based on fact. Honestly!

Lastly, I have begun uploading my photographs to flickr, which seems to work well. Enjoy!
